I could not find the name of a coach, though their manager, who may have acted as coach, was named Johnson. Here are the game outcomes I found:
9/16: Lost to Chicago 26-0
9/13: Lost to Northwestern 11-0
9/30: Lost to Notre Dame 44-0
10/21: Lost Lincoln (NE) 29-0
Lost to Crane 18-0
11/11: Beat McKinley 30-0
Steffen was at UChicago in 1905, though Wisconsin 'kidnapped' him for a few days. (Story to follow). The team had lots of academic ineligibility problems with players in and out of the lineup. Based on what I found, Pollard played against Chicago and may not have appeared again that season.
Pollard did play vs. ND. I read in a newspaper account, that he ran well and on North Divisions best scoring chance, barely missed a drop kick from about 40 yards out.
Do you know the record and coach of North Division High School in 1905? Did Steffens play vs. Notre Dame that year? I know Pollard did.

Thank you!

Athletic talent clearly ran in the Pollard family.
Yes. Ran is the operative word.
