I am continually fascinated by football-related advertising premiums that were once given away at retail locations. Besides the standard single-sheet pocket schedules, retailers gave away booklets with composite schedules of hundreds of college and pro teams, summaries of the previous season, outlooks for the coming year, and other tidbits.
I read a similar book in the early 1970s (it was written in the 1950s) and practiced in order to make a team. Long story short, I ended up playing 5 years of Division 1 football (University of Wyoming). Thank you for bringing back some good memories.

Oh my gosh. A Cleveland Brown player was presented by Pennsylvania Athletic Products, no wonder the Steelers couldn't beat the Browns back then. Lol
