Bob Zuppke's Illini "huddled" for the first time against South Dakota in 1921. Among those huddling that day was guard Dick Reichle. With the BoSox in 1923, he hit the second-ever HR in the newly-opened Yankee Stadium. Babe Ruth hit the first two days earlier.
