Yea, I also liked the Johnny Football era A&M shoulder striped that likewise didn't stick around very long but I thought were a cool look for them. I think for schools who don't have iconic looks, unique stripes can be a way to look distibct without going full Oregon (or recently Maryland)
I love the Calgary stripes. Michigan did it for their first night game against ND - didn't think it was right for Michigan but think it'd be great for someone like Minnesota or Illinois

I love the classic UCLA shoulder stripes and, admittedly, I really like Calgary's shoulder stripes that echo the 1930s.
