Yesterday was Lee Corso’s 87th birthday, a fact not recognized by Today’s Tidbits until today. Nevertheless, his publicity shot from the 1956 season at Florida State is below.
As we all know, part of his gig on GameDay is putting on the mascot head of the team he predicts will win the day’s game. Below, Corso can be seen tossing a pass and having his single-bar face mask tugged on afterward. In the background is a press box, most of which is open to the elements, just like the fancy stage Corso shares with his co-hosts today.
