Of course it is. But this colossal realignment featuring far-flung conferences may cause a reconsideration of scheduling. But...it probably won't!!

I've often thought that home-and-home would provide a truer test than what we get now, particularly when it comes to a conference's top teams.

The challenge, of course, is that you also want to maximize the number of conference teams played, so home-and-home is tough to do in football.
