Today's Tidbit... Student Pilots Flew Scouts to Games

Students enrolled in William & Mary’s early '30s flight school flew coaches to scout afternoon games, returning in time for W&J’s night games. Perhaps the first college to airlift their scouts, the Quantico Marines flew their scouts to Michigan before their 1923 game.
