I met Ham Fish in Fall '88, at his Park Avenue apartment. He drank some skimmed milk out of a glass with little pink animals around the rim. Even at 99 (he'd just married his 56-year-old housekeeper!) and needing a walker, you could see the power he once had. I have the picture somewhere ..
