The picture of Ohio Stadium below was taken one hundred years, six months, and two days ago when the Horseshoe was little more than a frame.

About six months later, the Buckeyes beat Ohio Wesleyan and Oberlin to start the 1922 season before opening their 63,000-seat stadium with a 19-0 loss to Michigan. Ohio State finished the year with a losing record. They did the same the next year and the year after before adding only six more losing seasons over the next century.
