Old college yearbooks are a great source of old-school football and athletic art. I showed examples of college yearbook artwork in an article about 18 months ago, and having gathered many additional examples since then, so I thought I’d present some of my favorite examples.

The images generally come from cover pages of the athletics or football sections of the yearbook. The Tidbit from a few days ago covered yearbook artwork in black and white:

Today’s examples include black-and-white and color images portraying fans on game day. In the coming days, we will show artwork focused on women and then will show full-color artwork with football players as the subject matter. These are presented without comments so you and I can spend more time with our families over the holidays. (-Click images to enlarge-)
